FAQ

You have two options to try SPLINT without obligation:

1. 30-day trial period for individuals Simply register at https://splint.schule/signup. This automatically gives you access to all SPLINT One features for 30 days – completely without a license code.
2. School test with trial licenses If you want to test SPLINT as a team, you can get free trial licenses for multiple teachers from us. These are valid for 6 weeks and give you the opportunity to try SPLINT directly as a team with real workflows. You can test SPLINT as a school here: https://splint.schule/get-offer/inklusion-digital

Tip: Many federal states already have subsidized licenses (e.g., through district governments or programs like the Startchancenprogramm). Feel free to ask if your school is included – then SPLINT is even completely free to use.

In the free basic version, the functionality of SPLINT is reduced.

Compared to the full version, the following limitations exist:

• max. three profiles for students
• max. 1 target goal per student
• access to four selected observation forms (autism, trauma support, general learning assessment, and socio-emotional development)

Collaboration with colleagues remains unlimited. Even in the basic version, you can request observations, receive and leave comments, and contribute as a participant to the target goals of your colleagues.

With the full version, you can use SPLINT without limitations!

You can:

• create unlimited profiles and target goals for your students,
• use all materials such as observation forms and diagnostic aids,
• collaborate with your colleagues without restrictions.

The biggest advantage: Based on the completed observation forms, you can quickly and easily create target goals that already include appropriate text suggestions for the initial situation as well as suggestions for measures.

As an individual user, the full version only costs you 4.95 per month.

For use in schools and teams, you can determine the lowest price with our Offer Tool.

If you as a team or faculty are interested in SPLINT, you will receive free trial licenses with every requested offer.

With these licenses, you can test the app for six weeks. The codes can be assigned to individual users in the school portal and are valid immediately. The testing period ends automatically.

SPLINT offers flexible tariffs – depending on whether you use the app alone or as a team:

Single license (private use): €7.90 gross / month for SPLINT One (Support Planning + Feedback)

School licenses (for teams): In packages of 10, 25, or 40 licenses – from approx. €470 / year net → Up to 40% discount for longer terms → Also carrier solutions with unlimited licenses per school possible

The easiest way to do this is to use our offer tool.

Enter your details and those of your school and you will receive a non-binding offer and trial licenses.

Alternatively, you can write us an email and we will send you all the information you need.

The administration of trial codes takes place in the school admin portal.

Logged in to SPLINT, you can switch to the portal as a school admin via the menu at the top right. There you will see either open offers with the corresponding trial codes or paid license codes if your school already has a contract with us.

To access the school admin portal, you must be registered in SPLINT.

Testing is particularly easy in Lower Saxony – because all schools receive free licenses.

Here's how:

Register: Create an account at https://splint.schule/signup.

Appoint school admin: So that the free licenses can be distributed among the staff, one person (e.g., school management) must be registered as a school admin.

Use licenses: The school admin distributes the licenses via the school admin portal – so you can try SPLINT directly as an entire team.

Your employer has already purchased a license for you.

You can request a license code through your school board's inclusion officer and then unlock the full version in your SPLINT profile.

The school admin portal is the area in SPLINT where school management or their appointed admins control license management for the entire school.

Admins can:

1. Assign or revoke licenses to colleagues
2. Add new colleagues
3. Keep an overview of all registered users at the school

This ensures that the entire team can work with SPLINT without complications.

Note: If you don't see the school admin portal, you may be missing the admin role. In this case, a short email to support@inklusion-digital.de is sufficient.

You can manage your notifications yourself at any time:

Log in at splint.schule

Click on your initials at the top right and select Profile

Go to the Notifications menu item

Specify there in which cases you want to receive an email

This allows you to individually determine whether and when SPLINT informs you by email.

You can adjust your email address yourself in the profile settings at any time:

1. Log in at splint.schule
2. Click on your initials at the top right and select Profile
3. Your current email address is displayed under personal data
4. You can enter your new email address via the edit symbol next to it
5. Save with the disk symbol
6. You will then receive a confirmation email to your new address – please click the link in it to complete the change

Your new email address is now successfully stored.

Tip: You don't have to delete an email address. You can just as well create another email address as an alternative email address. Then you can be reached in SPLINT via multiple email addresses and requests will reach you regardless of which email address was used.

Unfortunately no, SPLINT Feedback is not included in the state license agreements in Lower Saxony. But you can easily purchase the module additionally!

SPLINT Feedback is available as a school license in various packages: Depending on how many licenses you need, you can choose a package in size S (10 licenses), M (25 licenses), or L (40 licenses). You can also flexibly adjust the term: With a one-year license, you start completely without obligation, and with longer terms of two or three years, you save up to 40%.

Yes. All universities, teacher training seminars, and other educational institutions receive SPLINT for free.

You can get access by simply contacting us directly at splint@inklusion-digital.de – we'll set everything up for you.

A few schools have licenses but haven't activated them yet. Report a school admin to us at support@inklusion-digital.de – we'll set everything up. The admin can then assign and manage licenses within the team.
