"Tasks" is your personal overview area, where you can see all your pending to-dos at a glance: observations, feedback, open support goals, or steps you still need to complete.
- Create manually in SPLINT
- In SPLINT, go to "Students" in the menu on the left.
- Click "Create student" at the top right.
- Enter at least the first and last name (other fields like class, date of birth, or years of school attendance are optional).
- Confirm with "Save".
- Import via CSV list (if you want to add many students at once)
- Open the student list in SPLINT.
- Click on "Import CSV list".
- Upload your prepared CSV file (required fields: first & last name; optional: date of birth, learning group, grade level, years of school attendance).
- SPLINT usually assigns the columns automatically, but please check this again.
- Click "Confirm" and the profiles will be created. Note: SPLINT does not check for duplicates during CSV import, so you must delete any duplicate students manually.
- Import from WebUntis
- Via "Import students from administration software" you can import students from WebUntis.
- Currently, only students who also have an account in WebUntis are imported.
- Only a few data fields are imported (first & last name, date of birth, and if applicable, class). Often it is worthwhile to create new students manually.
Tip: If you involve several colleagues in SPLINT, you can easily transfer student profiles to colleagues later via "Manage participation".
To create student profiles and support goals in SPLINT, proceed as follows:
Creating student profiles
- In your SPLINT app, go to the "Students" section.
- Click on "Create student".
- Enter at least the first and last name and save the profile.
- Afterwards, we recommend adding further information to the profile, such as strengths, interests, or agreements.
- Via "Manage participation" we recommend adding colleagues and assigning write or read rights. If a person is added as a "Supporter", they only have read rights; if added as a "Responsible person", they also have write rights.
Creating support goals
- Open the respective student profile.
- Click on "+ Create support goal".
- Formulate your own support goal in the text field and describe the initial situation.
- Add suitable measures via "+ Add support measure". You can use suggestions from SPLINT or enter your own measures.
- If necessary, select the support area and save the goal.
- Specify which colleagues are responsible for the goal (with write rights).
Tips:
SPLINT automatically suggests support goals and measures if you have previously filled out observation forms. You can adopt or adapt these suggestions.
All steps and development progress are automatically documented and can be exported as a support plan PDF at any time.
Colleagues can be removed from the list with just a few clicks:
Log in at splint.schule
Deactivate classroom mode by clicking on the closed eye next to your initials (top right) – after that, all personal data is visible in plain text.
Go to "Colleagues" in the menu on the left.
Select the person you want to remove.
Click on the pencil symbol next to the email address in the colleague profile.
On the next page, select "Delete contact" via the three dots at the top right.
Confirm deletion.
After that, the contact disappears from your colleague list.
